the week b4 flying off to cambodia
busy busy week...lot's of stuff to prepare, to do and many activites to attend...i got loads of photos to prove my busy schedule (kindly refer to facebook!) hehez...anyway...it's now less than 6 hrs to my flight to cambodia (youth expedition project!)...PROJECT ANGEL 10! Yesh...i'll be gone for a whooping 3 weeks...be back on 10 june! so do rmb to sms me a 'welcome back'! =)tracing back to the pulau ubin trip cum chalet for PAX tat i mentioned b4...it's really rewarding and enriching in the sense that almost every part of the trip was new to me (9 interesting challenges to overcome...i like trekking at night...cool!)...so i did enjoyed myself...knowing more abt my team mates (impt cos we're going to spend 3 weeks tgt at a foreign land!), learning abt new perspectives on certain issues, teamwork, trust...blah blah (in the sense tat it's a bit too philosophical for me...my brain cannot absorb so many values at one go!)but i did learn something...hope i won't forget (cos i got the habit to do so...yikes!)!

then i arranged a dinner appt with ong on wed at compass pt (haiz...no photos to prove)...it's quite some time since i saw her last time...pretty as ever...hahaz...we had a nice meal at burger king...chatted and gossip as usual abt herself and other ppl's love lives...wahahaz...though the time was short but it was definitely a nice catch up! ahhh! really miss my wife & mistress but cos all of us are busy so no time to meet up...however...i'll be free when i'm back...so muz meet up! all the best to ong (for special sem), ping (for training & practice) & dor (relationship! hehe)
later the week...had scamp senior gathering at chevron...a very nice chalet i shld say cos i've never been there b4...it was actually quite fun as we played games and had bbq (nice games & food...not as bad as i thought)...it was also a good opportunity to know the ppl in my grp though i noe most of them while the rest i dunno didnt come except for 1...it made me look forward to the actual scamp! hehez...

back to PAX...we had a pre-expedition trip to a boys home...it's part of a learning process for us...to be able to communicate with these children...open up to them so tat they'll do the same as well...similar situation that we may face over at cambodia when we teach the kids. In addition, i realised that we shldnt stereotype the boys in such home...cos they're not actually naughty in nature...in fact, they're rather well-behaved and enthu when we conduct the games! it's probably the upbringing or environment constraints tat make them who they are initially...but as long as they're guided at the right path...it's not too late to change for the better! ahhh...yes...i'm inspired by the words of my team mates...i do learn a lot huh!
yeah! a farewell dinner for the gurgle ppl who're flying off to cambodia (including me of cos!)...thanx to the committee & ppl who turned up...thanx to urong for the good recommendation on korean food! nice nice...thanx to xy for the photos! (didn't expect tat coming!)...thanx to yl, qingfang, dee, gim sen as well...for their presence for me, cindy, urong & chee keong! really touched and i had fun eating & taking loads of photos!

lastly...i declare i'll miss many ppl when i'm at cambodia during this period of time! my family, friends, tv, computer, bed, bolster, pillow...hahaz...hope ya all miss me as well! it's a MUST anyway! so i won't be blogging for 3 weeks (duh!) dun blame me for tat...will be back with loads of pics at cambodia & souvenirs!

eat & play
YEAH! holidays have officially started! (dun ask me abt the exams...errrgh...dun wan to think abt it for now...hahahaz!) it's gonna be a long packed 3mths holidays with loads of activities tat's probably gonna create impact or memories in my puny life!1st & foremost, many thanks to gurgle ppl for waiting for we the fst ppl to patiently drag the post-exam celebration to our last day of exams...really had a great time partyworld-ing cos i can sing out my frustrations and weird feelings (dun ask me wat's tat...i also dunno...hahaz!) then we had a nice nice dinner at waraku (again! last time was with my sistas ong,ping & dor!)...lastly we had one of our gurgle signature activities which is...(drumroll) chatting along the Singapore river at Clarke Quay...hahaz...tis time with the companion-super delicious Hokkaido ice-cream! hahaz...these pictures are the pure evidence:

anyway...i'll be stranded at pulau ubin in less than 24 hrs starting from now till tues for a pre-expedition experience camp before the real expedition to cambodia...it's actually my 1st time going to pulau ubin, my lst time living in the forest, my lst time cooking food at the wild...probably many 1st times to experience such outdoor activities...all these realisations make me feel that i'm really vulnerable & ignorant somehow (wat have i been doing for my past 19yrs??)...hope i dun make a fool of myself and be useful and make lots of good friends tat can last! hehez...it's really a good learning experience nevertheless! will blog more after i'm back!
on a last note...i'm crazy over a new song from Wu Jia Hui-虽然我愿意 !!! It's a soothing and emotional song in my opinion...hehehz...for dramas...watch zettai kareshi (absolute boyfriend!) manga-turned-jap drama! for anime...watch vampire knight & neo angelique abyss! lots of bishounens! hahahaz!
alright...will stop for now...there are more more activities to come...really miss my lao po, mistress, maid & good frens! muz plan outings! & great thanks to my dearest frens who helped me in the YEP i'm involved...in one way or another...THANK YOU & SEE YA PPL! =)

midst of exams
shld be still mugging (ermz...mugging is a 'strong' word...hehez...juz revising) right now but i suddenly have to urge to blog after a long break (my last entry was at feb...i noe) hope my frenz out there still come & visit my blog once in a while...hehez...I still have 2 core papers left and I juz completed 2 papers (one ok, the other sucks) some time ago. Haiz...i really detest exams (since dunno when) though they're impt...somehow, the 'passion' (maybe i dun have it at all...hahah!) for studying is slowing slipping away from me...but i'm trying my best i think...uni is hard man...hahaz...but the tough and optimistic me shld do fine =P
have been studying, resting, eating (alot-fat liaoz), sleeping, watching tv and studying again for the past 2 weeks...it's the same old routine...ahhh very sianz...but i guess i cnt rest that much after exams cos i need to deal with my cca stuff & i'll be off to cambodia for solid 3 weeks! omg...first time leaving on a sch trip for almost a month...very cool indeed...i think i'll get to blog much abt it when i come back at june...=)
ahhh...i got loads of recommendations to share (new songs, new dramas, new anime!) but i dun think it's the best time for me to tell (or else i'll go nonstop)...will update more on the next entry (prob after exams) for sure...i'll try to update my blog more frequently...hehez...meanwhile, rock on ppl!
